We believe every Human has a wish to give back to the community. We just get too busy with ‘Life’, that we are not able to make time for this wish.  We, at Sneha Karma Foundation understand the challenges that we all go through – Focusing on Job, our careers, our loved ones, taking care of kids / elders, having quality time with family, etc, etc. We have hence made it really easy for anyone to volunteer with us.

Sneha Karma Foundation takes pride in being 100% volunteer lead non-profit organization. At any given time, we have 25+ active virtual volunteers on the team and 100+ who are in reserve (we call on them if we are in urgent need).

We are now embarking on a new journey to launch our Social Enterprise Initiative called ‘Artisans Direct By Sneha Karma Foundation’. For us to ensure that this initiative is successful, we see a need for growing our team in India and also recruit a few paid employees who can not only get paid but also grow their careers in the field of ‘Social Enterprise’.

Even thought ‘Artisans Direct by Sneha Karma Foundation’ is a Social Enterprise but it will be competing with a lot of a “Business for Profit” and hence our social enterprise will also be run just like any other ‘Business’ but the only difference is that 100% of the profit will be used to fund ‘Sneha Karma Foundation’ programs. This will ensure that ‘Sneha Karma Foundation’ can over a period of time become more and more self-reliant and less dependent on ‘Donations’.

We currently have the following ‘open opportunities’. If you are not interested in any of these opportunities but are still interested in serving ‘Sneha Karma Foundation’, please check out the ‘virtual volunteering‘ and ‘onsite volunteering‘ opportunities too.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am in-between jobs, not sure when I will get my next job but I have time now. should i apply to volunteer ?2017-12-24T17:02:25+00:00

Absolutely, Yes. More than 50% of our volunteers join us when they are in this situation but they then stay on as a volunteer even after they get a full-time job. We have all been in such situations and can completely understand that you might need to go back to focus on your new job for a few months before you come back to contribute as a part-time volunteer.
