We believe every human has a wish to give back to the community; we only get too busy with life to make time for that wish. Sneha Karma Foundation understands the demands of jobs, careers, loved ones and caring for children or elders, so we have made it genuinely easy for anyone to volunteer or work with us. We take pride in being a 100% volunteer-led nonprofit, with 25+ active virtual volunteers on the team at any given time and 100+ more in reserve who we call on when we are in urgent need. Our Social Enterprise
We are now embarking on a new journey to launch our social enterprise initiative, Artisans Direct By Sneha Karma Foundation. To make this initiative successful, we are growing our team in India and recruiting a few paid employees who can not only earn a living but also grow their careers in the field of social enterprise. Though Artisans Direct is a social enterprise, it will compete with for-profit businesses and will be run like any other business — the only difference being that 100% of the profit will be used to fund Sneha Karma Foundation programs. Over time, this will help us become more self-reliant and less dependent on donations.
About the Role: We are hiring our first paid employees in India. Currently, Sneha Karma Foundation is supported by more than 100 virtual volunteers. We are now looking to hire our first paid employee in India to scale our newly launched Artisans Direct by Sneha Karma Foundation social enterprise.

Firstly, Thank you for considering donating your time and Thank you for considering us as a organization where you would like to volunteer.
Every virtual volunteering job that we currently have open, requires a minimum of 4 hours per week of volunteers time. Please review the list of ‘virtual volunteering‘
Our Onsite volunteering assignment are more time intensive. They require some preparation time and also some dedicated onsite time. we recommend you visit our ‘onsite volunteering‘ page for more details.
It is completely understandable that you might not be able to commit to the minimum time required for virtual volunteering or the dedicated time required for onsite volunteering. We have many other volunteer programs available such as ‘Raise Funds‘ and/or ‘Be Our Ambassador‘ for individuals who might not be in a position to make time commitments and would yet like to contribute to our cause.
